More review today. Went in, and started off the lesson as a professional photographer. Since all the instructors and staff were in at Horizon Aviation in Norwood, and I happen to walk in for my lesson I had the opportunity to take the "Family Photo" for them. It was cute.
Then we got into the meat of it and headed in for my lesson. We went in to Josh's desk and covered today's material and made our plan. We decided to make it quick so we could spend more time in the air. We flew out following 95 out to Gillette Stadium again then flew West to 495 where I began practicing my skills again. We did slow flight, stalls, turn around a point, S-turns, and even a simulated emergency landing. Then we flew back to the airport where we made a right base back in for a landing. We then stayed there and did a couple take offs and landings as it was the opportune time to try them both with a crosswind. Take offs were fine.....my problem continues to be coming in too high and not staying lined up with the center line of the runway. This could pose a slight problem in the future.......gotta work on that!
Tomorrow we should be tackling radio communications and steep turns too!
